Desde los albores de la humanidad, el ser humano ha sentido una pulsión irreprimible por preservar la huella de su existencia. Recordar es, en esencia, un acto de resistencia frente al olvido; una manera de otorgarle permanencia a lo efímero y sentido al tránsito por el espacio y el tiempo. Consciente de la fragilidad de su memoria, el hombre encontró en la materia —la piedra, el metal, los pigmentos— un refugio donde resguardar aquello que no quería perder. Así nacieron las primeras manifestaciones visuales: el arte rupestre, la escultura, la pintura… y, siglos después, la fotografía.

La fotografía no es solo una evolución técnica de estas formas de registro; es también una extensión de la mirada humana. Desde su invención, ha mutado junto con nuestra manera de habitar el mundo, permitiéndonos no solo observar la realidad, sino reinterpretarla. Cada imagen posee la capacidad de informar, pero también de conmover; de suspender el tiempo y abrir un umbral hacia instantes que, aunque ya no existen, continúan vibrando en quien los contempla.

Como observador, entiendo el tiempo como una experiencia íntima y maleable. Pasado, presente y futuro se entrelazan en la luz que nuestros ojos perciben: radiación invisible convertida en memoria tangible dentro de las magnitudes infinitas del espacio-tiempo. Allí, en ese cruce silencioso entre lo físico y lo sensible, ocurre la experiencia humana.

Como fotógrafo, mi vocación es dialogar con la luz y persuadirla para que revele lo que normalmente pasa inadvertido. La utilizo como un pincel intangible capaz de escribir poesía sobre la realidad, describiendo con sutileza lugares, animales, rostros y estructuras que el ritmo vertiginoso de la vida suele volver imperceptibles. Fotografiar es, para mí, un acto de contemplación profunda: detener el tiempo para rescatar la esencia de un instante y concederle una forma de eternidad, ya sea en la materia o en lo digital.

Encuentro en la naturaleza, en los animales y en el paisaje urbano mis territorios de asombro. Son escenarios donde la vida se expresa con una honestidad primordial y donde la belleza emerge sin artificio. En ocasiones, exploro estos espacios desde el hiperrealismo para exaltar el detalle; en otras, recurro al surrealismo para expandir los límites de lo visible y acercarme a aquello que solo puede percibirse desde la sensibilidad.

Mi fotografía nace, entonces, del encuentro entre la luz y el tiempo, entre lo tangible y lo imaginado. Es una búsqueda constante por transformar lo cotidiano en revelación y por ofrecer, a través de cada imagen, una invitación a mirar el mundo con pausa, profundidad y asombro.

Since the dawn of humanity, human beings have felt an irrepressible impulse to preserve the traces of their existence. To remember is, in essence, an act of resistance against oblivion; a way of granting permanence to the ephemeral and meaning to our passage through space and time. Aware of the fragility of memory, humanity sought refuge in matter — stone, metal, pigments — to safeguard what could not be entrusted to remembrance alone. Thus emerged the earliest visual expressions: cave art, sculpture, painting… and, centuries later, photography.

Photography is not merely a technical evolution of these forms of record; it is an extension of the human gaze itself. Since its invention, it has transformed alongside our way of inhabiting the world, allowing us not only to observe reality but to reinterpret it. Every image holds the power to inform, but also to move; to suspend time and open a threshold into moments that, although gone, continue to resonate within the viewer.

As an observer, I understand time as an intimate and malleable experience. Past, present, and future intertwine within the light our eyes perceive — invisible radiation transformed into tangible memory inside the infinite magnitudes of space-time. It is within this silent intersection between the physical and the perceptual that human experience unfolds.

As a photographer, my calling is to engage in dialogue with light and persuade it to reveal what often goes unnoticed. I use it as an intangible brush capable of writing poetry onto reality, describing with subtlety places, animals, faces, and structures that the vertiginous rhythm of modern life tends to render invisible. For me, photographing is an act of deep contemplation: stopping time to rescue the essence of an instant and granting it a form of eternity, whether material or digital.

Nature, wildlife, and the urban landscape are the territories where I encounter wonder. They are spaces in which life expresses itself with primordial honesty, where beauty emerges without artifice. At times, I explore these environments through hyperrealism to exalt detail; at others, I lean toward surrealism to expand the boundaries of the visible and approach what can only be perceived through sensitivity.

My photography is born from the meeting of light and time, of the tangible and the imagined. It is a constant pursuit to transform the ordinary into revelation and to offer, through each image, an invitation to see the world with stillness, depth, and awe.
